LIVE WELL "Beach Time" SINGLE REVIEW

Started by friends Paul Masbad and Max Johl after traveling the country together in late 2017, “Live Well” is more than just a band name to them. It’s a shared promise to always do the best they can on and off the stage - one that they’ve since gotten tattooed as a permanent reminder. This mantra shines through on the band’s forthcoming debut-full length, Perfectly Temporary which is OUT NOW, described by Masbad as "a collection of songs highlighting moments from the past; many you want to move away from but will never forget.”
The band recently dropped their first single from PERFECTLY TEMPORARY entitled Beach Time, a perfect tune for the nostalgic pop-punk/indie rock kid in all of us. The tune has the upbeat poppy tempo and vibe similar to bands like Saves The Day, The Get Up Kids with overtones of bands like Something Corporate and MAE. Don't get me wrong, the song is far from dated bringing together the nostalgic with a modern pop edge with big, bright verses and chanting choruses throughout the song.
LIVE WELL is already set to release their 2nd single from the album entitled COOL BANDS, but for now, check out BEACH TIME below!
