Starting in 2017, UK quintet OUT COLD is already on their way to being a well-known pop-punk group. The band recently debuted their first EP "The Truth Hurts" on July 27th 2018.
The band has a totally new pop-punk modern edgy sound to them reminiscent of bands like The Story So Far and Real Friends.
The entire EP is jam-packed full of energetic, upbeat pop-punk beats, high ranged vocals with a sick 1st and 3rd part harmony, left field stop breaks and fills while still not diving so far left field that their identity is unrecognizable.
Tunes like Flowers in Winter remind me of early All American Rejects meets Neck Deep combined with their own identity with lead singer "JP's" distinct vocals and Brit accent. Other tunes like "Things Left Behind" and "Wait and See" remind me of The Story So Far with the unpredictability of the song's dynamics and versatility.
