Callan - Guitar/Vocals Jack - Bass Harvey - Drums/Vocals
The first thing that I noticed before even listening to pop-punk trio THRIFT STREET was that the guys dubbed themselves as: "Northampton pop punk." Immediately I was stoked to hear a fellow Pennsylvania band, Northampton being close to Nazareth (not the Jesus place, there's one in PA too), but then realizing after hearing their song "Abington Park" (Shakespeare's granddaughter lived on the property back in the day) that these dudes are from the UK. It's always unreal to me at times with the intercontinental connection I have with bands I get to talk to, meet and hear.
WAYNE'S HURLED
Thrift Street's overall sound is reminiscent of NEON TREES meets pop-punk circa 2004 with Callan's voice kind of like that of Tyler Glenn of Neon Tree's with the overall sound of the band like that of pop-punk "from back in the day". With driving beats, tasteful harmonies, catchy hooks like in, well, pretty much ALL of the song "Slow Down."
