Unwritten Law Self-Titled on Vinyl For First Time Ever!
Scott Russo - vocals / guitar Wade Youman - drums Chris Lewis - guitar Jonny Grill - bass
Since 1990 the combination of constant touring and the support of fans have enabled Unwritten Law to rise above the glut of rock and punk bands that have saturated the scene since Green Day explosion in the mid-'90s. The band helped open the door for bands that have since had a skyrocketed success like blink-182 all while maintaining to their humble punk rock roots.
Songs from their self-titled album like "Lonesome" and "Teenage Suicide" show a depth of songwriting and arrangement that few other bands of the genre obtain, with Scott Russo singing tight raspy vocals over an extremely impressive killer rhythm section and 2-3 part harmony. While tunes like "Cailin" became a staple on modern rock radio and an anthem for punk rock dads in bands like myself everywhere.
The album will be released on vinyl via SRCVinyl in celebration of the album's 20th anniversary. It has been re-mastered for vinyl and lacquers created by Kevin Gray, Cohearent Audio and pressed at RTI. Unwritten Law's Self-Titled album is available for pre-order now and will be out February 15th, 2019.
